A non profit organization dedicated to providing love and protection to feral cats.
“By the love of those I have been privileged enough to rescue, I have been rescued.”
Kari is the co-founder of Cattailz.org. “We ‘rescue’ the feral (homeless) cats in our community. Seven to ten million animals are euthanized every year in the United States,” Kari explains. “By spaying and neutering the feral cats, I hope to do my part in helping to reduce this heartbreaking number. You can see the gratefulness in the animal’s eyes. They’re healthier and happier once spayed and neutered. We also provide them with shelter and daily food once they are returned to the only place they know as home. They live out a healthier life there, and continue to mouse for the business owner or neighborhood. I enjoy earning the animal’s trust and seeing them become more at peace as they realize someone cares.”
